Moustache? Beards? Neither?

These days it seems beards are more in the limelight than moustache, which granted had its 15 seconds of fame during the early 1800. According to an article by bbc.com – during the late 17th Century, beards fell spectacularly out of fashion in Europe – helped in part by russian Tsar Peter the Great’s ‘beard tax’ – and as a result moustaches flourished. By the early 1800s moustaches were flamboyant, curled and often carefully sculpted to link up with excessive sideburns. I’m currently sporting a bad case of facial hair which has a bit of moustache and some chin hair. So it’s no surprise that I enjoyed this video which admittedly might have some hidden meaning that I’m probably not getting but still. Enjoy it for what it is
