Going back 8 years for this one. Yea, can’t believe it’s been that long already since this hit was taking over the airways. Muse’s song Uprising had a lot of meaning back then but I feel it has even more meaning now. We are at a time in the course of human history where evil has risen to the highest levels of government and to hold human progress back. Well after seeing the power of the people in the recent marches I can clearly see an uprising is occurring. Or more like an awakening (Star Wars style). If there were to be a mix tape for revolutions this song would be on it. An innovated song with a creative music video, that’s why this song is the Throwback Thursday song of the week.
