In the early 2000’s we were blessed with one of the greatest bands in the world. Linkin Park began their legendary story of concurring the music world with their unique style and sound. Having a band with a DJ has been done before but not like this. Their song’s were some of the most powerful to ever be written. But in my eyes what made them stand apart from the others where them breaking down the barriers between genres. Mixing rock with Hip Hop and Rap just like Aerosmith and Run DMC did back in the day. One of my favorite genre mix ups was when they mixed with X-ecutioners for the hit song It’s Goin Down.
